HISTORY

PHO, considered to be Vietnam’s national dish, is beloved throughout the country and the world. In its simplest form, it consists of a fragrant broth poured over a bed of rice noodles topped with a handful of green onion, herbs and succulent sliced meat. While beef pho (pho bo) is the most popular and is eaten throughout the day, chicken pho (pho ga) is also much loved. Visit us today to taste the many types of pho we offer!

Our Story

Our story started when Mrs. Dieu, our mother, opened her first restaurant as a young lady in 1988 Vietnam, serving soldiers during the war. Three years after immigrating to the US, she started her first restaurant in Houston, TX in 1991. The family moved to Georgia in 2004 and opened Pho Vy in 2007, followed by Uptown Vietnam Cuisine in 2013. 

 We are proud to serve you fresh, authentic Vietnamese food made with local ingredients. We have a delicious menu that you are to love. Our specialty involves healthy cuisine with plenty of fresh vegetables and a variety of flavorful spices.

My husband and I wanted to try something different so we walked in and ordered to go dinner. The staff were so helpful, recommending dishes and making adjustments for preferences and dietary restrictions. We took the food home and were in absolute shock! We’ve eaten in 5 star restaurants that weren’t as good as this. Fresh, so much flavor, and made with care! We will now be regulars!
